Q: How does it work?
A: You will be shown a link to enter into your phone to visit with the browser. Open your WAP browser and enter the download URL displayed. Once your phone reaches the page, you will see the links to download your new content directly to your phone. Click to download and save as per your cell phone directions.
Q: Is my cell phone carrier supported?
A: Whether or not you can use this site depends mostly on the type of the phone you have and not as much which carrier you're with. As long as your phone is capable of downloading content via URL addresses it will be ok.
Q: What if my phone has no browser?
A: If you find that your cell phone does not have a way to access the internet, you will not be able to use our software.
Q: Will I be charged?
A: We do not charge for use of our software. However, your cell phone company may charge you for accessing the internet if you do not already have a plan with them.
Q: My cell phone is internet enabled but when I enter the download URL it says it cannot be reached.
A: If your PC is behind a firewall, make the appropriate adjustments to allow the connection between your cell phone and our software. If you still cannot access your computer using the link, disable your firewall completely, download your new files, and restart your firewall when finished. Your firewall may not be just
software driven. Many home routers have built in firewalls, so you may need to investigate there to disable the built in firewall. This may happen more often with wireless routers.
Q: My cell phone plays monophonic and polyphonic ring tones, will I be able to use this software?
A: Yes. In addition to creating MP3 ringtones, our software also lets you create and upload your own MIDI ringtones.
Q: All of my attempts to upload to my cell phone wirelessly appear to not work, can I use my cell phone data cable to transfer the new files?
A: Yes. Locate the folder on your PC called "MyRingtones." This is where OneClickRingtones stores your newly created MP3 ringtones. An example of this directory would be: C:\Program Files\InstantRingtones\MyRingtones Select the files and transfer them as per your cell phone data transfer instructions.
